Dr. Rob Buechel is an expert in the field of chiropractic and rehabilitation. Dr. Buechel has created a cutting edge center that combines the best of holistic healthcare incorporating the following fields: chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy, massage, nutritional supplements (using Standard Process), Pilates, yoga, weight loss, pre- and postnatal care.

Currently, Dr. Buechel is located at 4535 Fanuel Street, Pacific Beach. In December of 2008 he and the Buechel Sports Injury and Wellness Team will be moving to 2206 Balboa Ave. in Pacific Beach. This brand new state of the art center will become a “true” integrated health facility bridging holistic healthcare and traditional medicine in one location with medical doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, clinical nutrition, counselors, athletic trainers, education classes, cooking coaches, Pilates and YOGA instruction.

The center will boast a brand new state of the art Physical Therapy Center complete with the latest technology for spinal decompression. Patients will find Buechel Sports Injury and Wellness Center unique because it individualizes each patient’s care. The doctors and health care professionals work as a collaborative team to treat each patient. This is not a one size fits all center, as patients, their injures and health concerns are unique.

Stacie Buechel is a Credentialed Montessori Elementary teacher who is currently on sabbatical. Stacie has always been passionate about education, in the classroom she created an environment where children thrived and loved to learn. She currently is sharing that same passion with adults though the Buechel Health Education Nights she hosts on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. She invites expert speakers to share about topics such as vaccinations, whole food nutrition, DETOXing, Health Savings Accounts and she personally teaches parenting classes. She also invites local authors and members of the community to share their holistic and natural expertise with our community of patients. Most events are Free and patients and guests are welcome.

Stacie is passionate about prenatal health; she promotes natural childbirth and helps patients recognize the relationship between the environment in the womb and the later development of personality and health. She is a co-leader of the San Diego Chapter of Holistic Moms Network, a group dedicated to raising and educating, healthy, environmentally aware children and honoring each child’s unique individuality. This National Organization is getting attention in the news as a leading voice in the pursuit of raising healthy children, natural living, informed and mindful parenting and working as a collective whole to have a sustainable environment. This group meets the last Tuesday of each month at Buechel Chiropractic Center and there is a membership fee to attend.

Stacie delivered her 9.4lbs son naturally with help from a midwife, a doula, her mother and her husband, Dr. Buechel. She practiced the Pilate’s Method of exercise and educated herself on the Bradley Method of breathing in order to successfully birth naturally. Additionally, she received adjustments and massage monthly during her pregnancy to stay pain and stress free. She shares her beliefs on natural childbirth and how to create the optimal pregnancy monthly in her quarterly newsletter via email. Andraya is an incredible addition to Buechel Chiropractic! She grew up in Napa supporting and learning from her family about the Fetzer Family Wine Business. We have been fortunate to have Andraya join our team as our business manager; she utilizes her law degree with her focus on business development and team building.

JoAnne grew up in Taipei, Taiwan and moved to San Diego to attend San Diego State University. While attending San Diego State University she studied Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training. After attending college she completed her certification in Athletic Training while working on her internships at UCSD, volunteered for the Rock and Roll Marathon and JoAnne has a lot of experience working with high school athletes!

This fall she will be working with Mission Bay High School Football team on Friday’s nights supporting the team with her outstanding athletic training skills. She also supports VAVi athletes teaching them pre and post warm up exercise and supporting them with their chronic injuries.

JoAnne promotes team healing and enjoys teaching her patients how to live a healthier lifestyle.

Elaine Lopez is the office/ billing manager at Buechel Chiropractic. She has been with our company for nearly two years, acting not only as an expert in insurance billing and benefits but also as a positive advocate for healthcare and patients. If you have any questions regarding your insurance benefits, a work comp injury or have been in a car accidents, Elaine is always happy to answer your questions.

Elaine is also involved in promoting our Standard Process Detox Program. She personally has completed this program twice, both times noticing improvements in her health and overall well being. She is a role model for our patients, a person who follows good nutrition and an exercise routine.
